Questions about the student discount
Who gets the student discount?
Anyone studying at a university of applied sciences (hbo) or a research university (wo), including international students. You get €50 extra off the Silver, Gold or Diamond package, manual and automatic.
How do I get the discount?
We arrange it together when you buy your package. Just have your student card ready.
Can I combine it with the theory discount?
Yes. If you have already passed your theory exam, your package is €50 cheaper. The €50 student discount comes on top.
Do you pick me up at campus?
Yes. Lessons start and end where it suits you within our area, including TU Delft, The Hague University of Applied Sciences, Leiden University's campus in The Hague or your student house.
Can I take lessons in the evening or at the weekend?
Yes, we teach in the morning, in the evening and at the weekend, so you can plan around lectures and a side job.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes. Silver, Gold and Diamond can be paid in 2 instalments: half at the start and half halfway through, with a one-off €20 admin fee.
Can I exchange my foreign driving licence?
It depends on where your licence was issued. EU/EEA licences can usually be used and exchanged. Some non-EU licences can be exchanged, others cannot, and then you need to pass the Dutch theory and practical exam. Read exchanging a foreign licence in the Netherlands.
